Privacy Policy

Spectra Search does not collect, track, or profile you. There are no ads, no behavioral tracking, and no third-party analytics following you around the web.

What we don't do

• We do not log your search queries against your identity.
• We do not build advertising or behavioral profiles.
• We do not sell, rent, or share data with advertisers.
• We do not use third-party tracking pixels or ad networks.
• We do not fingerprint your device or browser.

What we do handle

To deliver search results, your query is sent to our search provider (Tavily) over an encrypted connection. We do not attach personal identifiers to that request.

If you choose to create an account, we store only your email address and (optionally) display name and avatar, so we can sign you in and let you save searches. Saved searches are visible only to you.

If you grant location permission for a "near me" style query, your approximate city (coordinates rounded to roughly 1 km) is included with that single search to improve relevance. Location is cached in your browser for 12 hours and never stored on our servers.

Cookies

We use only the strictly necessary cookies and local storage required to keep you signed in and to cache results for performance. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. Deletion is permanent and removes your saved searches.
